1/3 cup (35g) unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder.

Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Let cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
